Application Process


The application process for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship involves following main steps:

  1. Select a university and program of study from the participating universities listed on the ICDF website.
  2. Contact the university directly and apply through their admission process. Make sure to indicate you are applying for ICDF Scholarship.
  3. After being admitted to the university, apply online for ICDF Scholarship through the online portal before the deadline.
  4. Submit required documents such as recommendation letters, statement of purpose, transcript, language test scores etc.
  5. Successful candidates will be interviewed either online or in-person before final selection.
  6. ICDF will announce scholarship results. Accept offer through the online portal.

Application Deadlines

Applications for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship are accepted twice every year with the following deadlines:

  • Fall/Spring Semester Intake – January 15
  • Summer Semester Intake – May 15

Scholarship Benefits

  • Tuition and Miscellaneous Student Fees: Tuition fees, registration fees, medical insurance and more will be fully exempted.
  • Monthly Stipend: Master’s students will receive NT$15,000 and PhD students NT$18,000 per month as a living allowance.
  • Accommodation Subsidy: A partial housing subsidy of NT$5,000-7,000 per month.
  • Relocation Allowance: A one-time allowance of NT$50,000 will be provided upon arrival.
